My Son Archaeology Site

The My Son Archaeological site Mỹ Sơn is perhaps the longest inhabited archaeological site in Indochina, but a large majority of its architecture was destroyed by US carpet bombing.

There is still enough left to give you good picture about the importance of the My Son Site in its glory days. You can wander around and feel thrown back in time.

My Son makes a perfect daytrip from Danang or Hoi An and worth the visit. There is one hotel close to the Site (the My Son Hotel) to my knowledge, but better to return back to Hoi An or Danang as there will not much to do besides visiting the Archaeological site of My Son.
note: access to the site is 100.000 VND for foreigners and 60.000 for Vietnamese.
