Cao Lau in Danang

  • 01-03-2014 - In search for Cao Lau in Da nang Cao Lau is a traditional dish from Hoi An and not that easy to find in Danang.
    Because I am quite a fan of this Hoi An dish, I started my search for the best cao lau in Danang.

    The first place I found is called Hoai Pho which sells besides cao lau other dishes like Com Ga and Banh Bao.

    First of all the place looks typically vietnamese but clean and tidy, with comfortable chairs and friendly prices.
    You can order a standard Cao Lau, served with fresh lettuce and thin sliced pork meat for 25.000 vnd. The taste is good, not the best Cao Lau I have enjoyed but not very far from it.
    Especially the use of fresh ingredients and good thin pork meat makes Hoai Pho a decent place in Da Nang to have some nice cao lau
