How to get there

Private Driver The most comfortable way to go to Bach Ma national park from Da Nang is to charter private car including driver. Depending on you're bargain skills you'll end paying something around 1,200.000 VND (including car and driver for one day, excluding petrol) or around 2.000.000 VND ($100) for a 7-seat taxi (8hours). The driver can bring you to the summit of the National Park, while motorbikes are not aloud to go up and need to use the National Park arranged transportation.
By Bus Taking the Bus from Hue or Danang will be cheap (around vnd 50.000) but tricky, as the bus is not brining you as far a private driver does and will leave at irregular times. After the Bus Drop in Chau Hai you'll need to ask around for the right direction. 3km from Chau Hai you'll reach the info center (15km from top) which will give you 2-options: 1) Walk the 15km to the top or 2) National Park arranged transportation! On internet you read many ridiculous stories about different prices they tend to charge you. The NP arranged transportation is 16-seat minivan that will cost 900.000 VND. You can share the minivan with other visitors going up to save some money.
note: it is not allowed to take your own motorbike up the top of the mountain
Bach Ma Hiking Trails

Bach Ma has a couple tracks for you to explore, each trail takes less than one day and many small trails can be explored from the road to the summit. More information you can get at the visitor center.
Rhododendron Trail: Starting at the summit road 2km below the top of the mountain it passes through the forest to the top of a nice waterfall. From there you make your decent on a steep 700 step stairs. At the bottom you can continue by taking the 5-lake trail.
5-lake trail: the trail is a stunning descent from the road following a small waterfall -- the five "lakes" are quaint catch basins along the waterfall's cascade. It's slippery in spots and even technical, with guide wires and ladders as needed.
Pheasant Trail: Starting 5km from the entrance, it will take you to the forest perfect for spotting some rare birds or nice vegetation.

Suoi Voi - Elephant SPrings
Located at the East part of Bach Ma National Park near Lancoo, you can find the Elephant Springs; Suoi Voi. This Great Relaxing place is just 1 to 2 hour drive from Da Nang and offers a nice relaxing day.

Visit some local villages which you can find on your guided tour. There is a possibility to stay overnight and join the Nguoi Muong People with their daily routine.

Bach Ma Pagoda
On the island in Lake Truoi you'll visit the Truc Lam Bach Ma Pagoda built by monks from the Zen Buddhism. You will need to hire a boat to visit the pagoda which you can find anywhere alongside the lake.

Bach Ma summit
Follow the main road (summit road) to the top of Bach Ma and enjoy the fantastic views! It will be quite a walk, but sure worth the effort. There will be some guest houses to stay overnight incase you'll start the hike to the top later in the day.
